The normal procedure is to lay down a deposit of €3,000 to secure the property and freeze the price. Then a payment schedule is negotiated with the builder, by us on your behalf. We will strive for a schedule that adapts to you, the client, the best.
We will introduce you to a suitable, independent lawyer who will go through the whole process with you, advising you and helping you with any queries you may have. He will also make sure that the land is in the builders name, that the development has all its building licences in order, and that the contract is a legal and fair document.
Once the property is finished and ready, your lawyer will accompany you to the signing of the public deeds in the notary and double-check everything with you to make sure that you understand everything and agree to all the terms.
